Motion Computing launches its newest J3500 rugged tablet PC for mobile workers. The new J3500 features a 12.1-inch capacitive dual touch display with LED-backlit and Gorilla glass. Optional ViewAnywhere screen can be equipped for outdoor use.
Motion’s J3500 is boosted by Intel’s Core i7 or i5 processor, 2GB of RAM (max 4GB) and 160GB hard drive or optional 64GB/128GB SSD. It supports WiFi and comes with optional integrated Gobi2000 mobile broadband with GPS. The tablet pc also includes increased security with fully manageable hard drive encryption, and Intel Anti-Theft technology used with Computrace, protecting valuable data in case of loss or theft.
The J3500 meets MIL-STD-810G and IP-52 ratings to ensure protection against bumps, drops, rain or other conditions. It starts at $2299.

In addition to the J3500, Motion Computing also brings the C5v Mobile Clinical Assistant (MCA) and F5v mobile field tablet PC. Both of them have a rugged design and meet MIL-STD-810G and IP-52 or IP-54 ratings. They include the Intel Anti-Theft Technology (Intel AT) with built-in intelligence to disable the tablet in the event that it is lost or stolen.

MSI launches a new 17.3-inch notebook, the CX705MX powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor with SiS chipset.
