The Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs and Intel Taiwan signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly accelerate the commercial deployment of WiMAX in Taiwan. The collaboration is also expected to enhance the global competitiveness of Taiwan-originated WiMAX offerings through greater interoperability with WiMAX infrastructure in other countries.
