HP Mini 100e Education Edition Netbook for Schools

 HP announced the Mini 100e Education Edition netbook designed “to help schools around the world acquire affordable, reliable computing technology.” This education-focus Mini is powered by Intel Atom N455 processor and 1GB DDR3 memory. It comes with a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with 1024×600 resolution.
In addition to optional WiFi, the Mini 100e also include an integrated worldwide modem that is compatible in all countries with the V.92 standard for dial-up internet connection.  It also packs webcam, spill-resistant keyboard and and an integrated carrying handle. It comes with Windows XP Home, Windows 7 Starter and SuSE Linux OS options. The price will be below $300.

Motion Computing launches its newest J3500 rugged tablet PC for mobile workers. The new J3500 features a 12.1-inch capacitive dual touch display with LED-backlit and Gorilla glass. Optional ViewAnywhere screen can be equipped for outdoor use.
 Motion’s J3500 is boosted by Intel’s Core i7 or i5 processor, 2GB of RAM (max 4GB) and 160GB hard drive or optional 64GB/128GB SSD. It supports WiFi and comes with optional integrated Gobi2000 mobile broadband with GPS. The tablet pc also includes increased security with fully manageable hard drive encryption, and Intel Anti-Theft technology used with Computrace, protecting valuable data in case of loss or theft.
 The J3500 meets MIL-STD-810G and IP-52 ratings to ensure protection against bumps, drops, rain or other conditions. It starts at $2299.

In addition to the J3500, Motion Computing also brings the C5v Mobile Clinical Assistant (MCA) and F5v mobile field tablet PC. Both of them have a rugged design and meet MIL-STD-810G and IP-52 or IP-54 ratings. They include the Intel Anti-Theft Technology (Intel AT) with built-in intelligence to disable the tablet in the event that it is lost or stolen.
 Powered by Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, the C5v and F5v get 1GB of RAM and 160GB hard drive or optional 64GB SSD. They have integrated WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity and can be equipped with Gobi 2000 mobile broadband module. Other options available include 1D/2D barcode scanner, 13.56MHz RFID reader with ISO 15693 support, 3 Megapixel camera, front-facing camera.
Motion’s C5v and F5v both sport 10.4-inch 1024×768 LED-backlit display with Gorilla glass and optional ViewAnywhere. They start at $2299 and $2548 respectively.

Sony launches the VAIO VPCEA290X-S Signature CTO notebook, which is basically an VAIO EA Series notebook with an eye-catching style in either Arabesque black, gold or pink. This Signature VAIO sports either Core i3-350 or Core i5-520M or Core i5-540M, 4GB of RAM (max 8GB) and up to 500GB 7200RPM hard drive. There is also a DVD burner or Blu-ray drive.

Tonino Lamborghini is a brand founded by Tonino Lamborghini, the son of the founder of Lamborghini, the Italian car maker. The brand focus mainly on fashion and now it is launching  the Slim series CULV notebook.

 Boosted by Intel’s CULV processor, the notebook packs up to 500GB hard drive and GMA4500 graphics. It has a 13.4-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit display and HDMI output. You can expect Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g, multi-in-one card reader and a 4-cell battery pack.

Maingear eX-L 17 Gaming Notebook

 Following 15-inch eX-L 15 and 18-inch eX-L 18, gaming PC maker Maingear introduces the new eX-L 17 that sits between them. The 17-inch high performance notebook is equipped with Intel Core i5/i7 processor up to Core i7 820QM, up to 8GB of RAM and choices of NVIDIA GeForce GTX480M, NVIDIA Quadro FX2800M, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5870 graphics.
The eX-L 17 packs up to 750GB hard drive or 512GB SSD and up to a 2X Blu-ray/DVD burner combo drive as well as a 7-in-1 card reader. It supports WIFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. You can find a 17.3-inch 1920x1080p Full HD LED-backlit display and HDMI and DVI-I output. The starting price of this gaming laptop is $1899.

 

PC Power & Cooling, part of OCZ Technology, launches the Silencer MK II power supply unit that “strikes the right balance between standard, server-class topology and state-of-the-art PSU architecture”. It features a Single +12V Rail for efficient power distribution, a thermally controlled 135mm double-ball bearing fan for airflow and 80-Plus certified efficiencies.
The Silencer Mk II is available in 500W, 650W, 750W, and 950W configurations. The first three models have 80+ Silver certification and the 950W model has 80+ Bronze.

MSI launches a new 17.3-inch notebook, the CX705MX powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor with SiS chipset. It is equipped with DDR2 memory, up to 500GB hard drive and 512MB ATI Radeon HD 545V graphics card. The notebook has 45-degree beveled edges and it’s cross hatch design color film print coating on the cover and wrist rest areas prevents scratches and wear.
As a member of the CX705 series, the CX705MX comes with a 17.3-inch 1600×900 LCD display. It supports WIFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. You can also find a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, 4-in-1 card reader, chiclet keyboardstereo speakers with subwoofer, HDMI output and a 6-cell battery.

HP introduces two new designs, preppy pink and white crystal for its Mini 210 netbook. The former HP Imprint 3-D, the industry’s first 3-D PC surface technology, which debuted on the HP Mini 110 by Studio Tord Boontje.

Also updated is the HP Mini 110 that comes with an integrated six-cell battery that provides up to eight hours of battery life.

Dell quietly reveals its new Inspiron 17R, 15R, 14R and 13R notebooks on its website. These new Inspiron models are boosted by Intel Core i5 processor and either Intel’s HD onboard graphics or 512MB/1GB ATI Radeon HD5470 dedicated graphics card. They have up to 8GB of RAM and 500GB ahrd drive. You can expect WiFi, Bluetooth and optional WIMAX support.
