Boston-based startup, Litl introduces the Webbook, an Internet computer for the home that offers a simple way for everyone in the family to enjoy online photos and all the web has to offer. The Litl Webbook sports an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor and a graphics chip that accelerates H.264 video and provides 720p output via HDMI port. It has a 12-inch LCD display. The Webbook runs Litl’s web-oriented OS and offers the “easel” viewing mode for accessing popular websites and RSS feeds. It has an easy-to-use interface and includes several proprietary channels developed by the team that transform content from Flickr, Shutterfly, and Facebook in new and exciting ways. There is also The Weather Channel that visually displays local weather conditions and 5-day forecasts. The Litl Webbook is priced at $699.

Fujitsu launches in the Europe market the AMILO Pi 3560 and AMILO Pi 3660 notebook PCs. These notebooks are both poweredby Intel’s Core 2 Duo Fujitsu’s AMILO Pi 3560 has a 15.6-inch or 16-inch 1366×768 widescreen LCD while the AMILO Pi 3660 has a 18.4-inch 1680×945 LD screen. They have a 320GB/500GB hard drive, a DVD SuperMulti burner, optional Blu-ray drive, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, 5-in-1 card reader, a HDMI port and an eSATA port. Fujitsu AMILO Pi 3560 and 3660 have a glossy black finish.
