iRiver Domino Inflate USB Flash Drive

River launches in Korea the new Domino Inflate USB flash drive, which, as the name tells, is the “inflated” version of the company’s original Domino USB memory. As the second edition of Domino drive, the Domino Inflate looks less like an domino.
The drive is available in 4GB (Orange), 8GB (White), 16GB (Black) and 32GB (Orange) capacities. Price starts at 34,900 Korean Won.

 

LG XD3 Slim Portable Hard Drive

LG introduces the new XD3 Slim portable USB hard drive that measures just 13mm thick. The XD3 Slim come with rubber pads on its sides for shock protection. It will have 320GB or 500GB capacities and will be available in Silver, Gold, Red and Black.

Toshiba adds 640GB model to its external hard drive lineup, joining 500GB and 320GB models. The new 640GB USB hard drive is based on the company’s new 2.5-inch 640GB (MK6465GSX) hard drive.

Toshiba’s 640GB drive will come NTI Shadow 4 for Macs and NTI BackupNow EZ for Windows backup software. It is available in Liquid Blue, Vivid White, Rocket Red and Komodo Green colors, for $179.99.

IronKey presents the S200 drive for government and enterprise customers, which is claimed to be the “world’s most Physically and Cryptographically Secure USB Flash Drive”. The IronKey S200 meets the government security requirements of FIPS 140-2, Security Level 3 and offers hardware-based AES 256-bit encryption in CBC mode. It has a tamper-resistant and tamper-evident rugged metal case.

The S200 is available in several versions, Basic, Personal, Enterprise and Enterprise Server. No mention on pricing and capacities, though it won’t be cheap.
