Maingear eX-L 17 Gaming Notebook

 Following 15-inch eX-L 15 and 18-inch eX-L 18, gaming PC maker Maingear introduces the new eX-L 17 that sits between them. The 17-inch high performance notebook is equipped with Intel Core i5/i7 processor up to Core i7 820QM, up to 8GB of RAM and choices of NVIDIA GeForce GTX480M, NVIDIA Quadro FX2800M, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5870 graphics.
The eX-L 17 packs up to 750GB hard drive or 512GB SSD and up to a 2X Blu-ray/DVD burner combo drive as well as a 7-in-1 card reader. It supports WIFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. You can find a 17.3-inch 1920x1080p Full HD LED-backlit display and HDMI and DVI-I output. The starting price of this gaming laptop is $1899.

 IO-DATA launches in Japan the HDJ-UT series USB 3.0 SuperSpeed external hard drive. Thanks to the new USB 3.0 interface, the HDJ-UT provides up to 5Gbps transfer rate. It is also backward compatible with USB 2.0.
The IO-DATA HDJ-UT is available in 1TB (HDJ-UT1.0) and 1.5TB (HDJ-UT1.5) capacities, which are priced at 21000 Yen and 25300 Yen respectively. They will be released in December.

Toshiba MK3233GSG 1.8-inch 320GB Hard Drive



 Toshiba introduces a new line of 1.8-inch hard drive with up to 320GB capacity which is the industry’s highest for 1.8-inch HDDs, replacing the company’s 250GB MK2529GSG. The new line is available in 160GB (MK1633GSG), 250GB (MK2533GSG) and 320GB (MK3233GSG) capacities. The 320GB model has industry’s highest areal density of 801 Mbit/mm2 (516 Gbpsi).
Toshiba’s new 1.8-inch hard drives run at 5400RPM spin speed and have 16MB  of buffer memory. They use SATA 3Gbps inteface. These drives deliver highly efficient power consumption, high-level durability and quiet seek operation, making them ideal for use in netbooks, CULV netbook, MIDs..etc.

AMD announced the AMD ATI Radeon HD 4770 graphics processor, which is the world’s first desktop GPU to use 40nm process technology. The new Radeon HD 4770 features GDDR5 memory and supports ATI CrossFireX technology. It comes with Unified Video Decoder (UVD 2.0) technology allowing users to enjoy HD content.

The Radeon HD 4770 has aso support for HDMI, picture-in-picture (PiP) and of course DirectX 10.1. The new GPU will be launched with a price as low as $99.
