Pandigital ZINK Portable Photo Printer

Pandigital teamed up with ZINK to introduces its first photo printer based on the Zero Ink printing technology. The printer is called Pandigital Portable Photo Printer, which is the first Zero Ink 4×6-inch printer.
Like other ZINK-enabled printers, Pandigital’s offering does not need ink to printer. Instead, it uses the patented ZINK Paper, an advanced composite material with embedded yellow, magenta, and cyan dye crystals. The printer can print photos directly from memory cards and USB drives, without the need of a PC. It has a LCD display for previewing photos.
Pandigital’s ZINK printer will be released in Q1 2010.

Toshiba MK3233GSG 1.8-inch 320GB Hard Drive



 Toshiba introduces a new line of 1.8-inch hard drive with up to 320GB capacity which is the industry’s highest for 1.8-inch HDDs, replacing the company’s 250GB MK2529GSG. The new line is available in 160GB (MK1633GSG), 250GB (MK2533GSG) and 320GB (MK3233GSG) capacities. The 320GB model has industry’s highest areal density of 801 Mbit/mm2 (516 Gbpsi).
Toshiba’s new 1.8-inch hard drives run at 5400RPM spin speed and have 16MB  of buffer memory. They use SATA 3Gbps inteface. These drives deliver highly efficient power consumption, high-level durability and quiet seek operation, making them ideal for use in netbooks, CULV netbook, MIDs..etc.
